Reaching the Non-Readers

As a marketing firm in the twenty-first century, it goes without saying that we familiarize ourselves with multiple platforms for content production.  Ani Marketing Service has created a presence that extends far into the depths of media and marketing.  This extension allows us to be capable and fluid marketers and consultants.  It also enables us to reach the many demographics that we serve, not only for our company, but for our clients as well.

This blog has chronicled our foray into social media through diverse arenas.  We use blogs, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, email blasts, all to entice and engage our market.  As a company that wants to remain ahead of the trend, this just is not enough.  With all the opportunity and space in mind, we have to keep our eyes on the non-readers as well as our readers.  Let me take a moment to clarify what I mean by “non-readers.”  Non-reading constituents do, in fact, read, but they prefer to receive their content in visual or audial format.  These are people that are often on the go, and would rather stick in headphones and listen to a podcast.  Perhaps they prefer watching a vlog on their smartphone as they ride to work.  Whatever their preference may be, they are a vital component of any marketing campaign, and they must be reached.

At first, producing content in additional formats might seem like a lot of extra work, but if you are creating informative and engaging content in writing, there is no reason that you cannot transfer that work into a different space.

For example we often take key quotes from our blogs and transfer them into smaller, digestible, one-glance, posts for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.  It keeps our content fresh, productive, and consistent.  Another way to implement this transfer of information is by converting a written blog into a podcast or vlog.  It really is quite simple.  Download free media software that allows you to convert recordings into mp3, and get started.  Turn your writing into two and three minute podcasts that listeners can enjoy while driving, running, or working in the office.  Add a personal touch to the work you create by engaging customers through video.  It allows them to better connect with you.  As you present information to them in different ways, they better understand who you are as a person, and more importantly, who you are as a marketer.
