Happy Summer 'Soul' stice!

This weekend those of us in the northern hemisphere will experience the summer solstice, when the sun stays above the horizon for more than 12 hours. It’s the day with the most light, which I just love! Imagine if you were in Stockholm, it would be a white night, and the perspective would be surreal if you weren’t used to it. That’s the beauty of it; the longest day of the year has a different perspective depending on where you experience it.

It’s a nice reminder that we all “stand” in different places. That’s why when we produce communications, we do it with prose, bullet points, and visual graphics. Everybody needs a different vehicle to get the same message.

So let’s take a lesson from our summer solstice – take advantage of the clarity the “extra light” allows, check our “positioning”, and really recognize the difference in the way we all see the same thing.

That’s it from here. Hope your summer is a relaxing one.

Always wishing you my best,

“Your paradigm is so intrinsic to your mental process that you are hardly aware of its existence, until you try to communicate with someone with a different paradigm.”
