Is the Farrah Fawcett look still in?!?

Okay … maybe I’m dating myself, but you get the idea, don’t you? Here in Manhattan, there’s nothing even remotely close to Farrah’s beautiful Wella Balsam long, feathered hairstyle. But I challenge you to check-out the southern belles at the airport in Dallas-Fort Worth. It’s a whole different world over there. I’m not saying for better or for worse … I’m just saying … 
Indeed, even if Farrah’s hairstyle was ‘in’, you know it wouldn’t be EXACTLY the same and you also know that it would vary region by region. And that’s what I want to remind you. It probably only seems like yesterday since you created your brand image, but try to remember when it really was (mine was created over 2 years ago), and realize that times are a-changin’ and you may need to freshen things up a bit. You don’t need to do anything DRASTIC with your branding, just review what you and your competitors have, make sure you put it in the context of today’s technology, and do a gut-check on how appropriate it still is. It’ll be a nice way to start the new year.

Btw, no joke, I’m off to get my hair cut this week. I’m open to all suggestions, but right now I’m leaning towards the Jaclyn Smith look! Send me pictures if you have any ideas!!
